The staff at the Pier Lodge Bed And Breakfast is incredibly kind and always attentive to our needs. the location of the lodge is fantastic, being right next to the beach, a grocery store, and in a beautiful residential area close to New Brighton. It's also near the Pier.

The rooms are vintage and great-sized and complete with an en suite bathroom, large comfy bed, as for instance. You can have coffee, tea, milk, toast, and butter for breakfast. The location is in an exceptionally nice spot to the pier in New brighton.

The location close to the beach was stunning. Booked a double room with central heating, iron/ironing board, and television.

Excellent breakfast, spotless hotel, perfect location to the airport or downtown. Location right by a supermarket, New Brighton beach and mall and restaurants in New Brighton. For tea or coffee visit Hector Cafe nearby. Thoroughly enjoyable stay for a night.

I had a fantastic night stay in an incredible setting next to the beach, with the beautiful New Brighton Clock Tower nearby.

Stayed here for 4 nights and was blown away by how nice and cozy it was. the bed was huge and super comfy, making it hard to get up in the mornings 😊. It was just overall really great and I had a wonderful time.

The lodge is nestled in a quiet street, close to shops, transport, parks, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It's like being in a tranquil oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The bathroom sink was a bit small, but manageable.

The room I stayed in at The Pier Lodge was incredibly cozy and inviting. I loved the seating area where I could unwind after a long day of exploring Christchurch. I was lucky enough to have a room with a balcony and a private en suite bathroom. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony and have my own bathroom for added privacy. The double room I stayed in had a washing machine, which was a pleasant surprise. It made it so convenient to do some laundry during my stay. Some rooms at The Pier Lodge have a private bathroom, and I liked having my own space to freshen up. , My double room also had a tumble dryer, which was handy for drying my clothes quickly. The room I had offered district views, which made waking up in the morning even more enjoyable. All rooms at The Pier Lodge include bathroom amenities, which was a nice touch and made my stay more comfortable.

Personally, I didn't find much use for the washing machine in my room. But I understand that others might find it convenient.
